For one of our main customers, EUMETSAT we are currently looking for a Satellite Platform Operations Engineer. Within the Operations and Services to Users Department, the Flight Operations Division FLO is charged to conduct space system flight operations, flight dynamics, mission analysis and mission control safely to maximize the mission return. Within FLO, the Meteosat Satellite Operations Team is responsible for the inorbit operations of four geostationary satellites Meteosat78910. The Meteosat Satellite Operations Team also supports the operations preparation of the 4th MSG satellite MSG4 which is planned to be launched in summer 2015 and the operations preparations of the MTG satellites which are currently under development. The Key person will be integrated in the Meteosat Spacecraft Operations Team. Hisher tasks in the area of SC platform routine operations and operations preparation will typically include Familiarisation with the Meteosat satellite design and operations procedures as necessary Support to the conduct of routine operations of the inorbit MSG spacecrafts and to the ommissioning of MSG4. Support to the LEOP preparation and execution of the next Meteosat satellites.
