Junior Development Engineer Mechanic

We are currently looking for a Junior Development Engineer Mechanic to support our customer in Germany. Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the HE Space team of experts supporting our customer in Friedrichshafen, you will have the following responsibilities Support performance of static and dynamic mechanical analyses of science, earth observation and navigation satellites and their components Support performance of mechanical stability performance analyses for space instruments and highly stable structures for space applications Mapping of thermal analysis results on mechanical mathematical models and performance of thermal distortion analyses Support performance of stress, strength and buckling analyses for structural components of satellites Support performance of nonlinear mechanical analyses of structural components of satellites Performance of plausibility checks and hand calculation to validate the analysis results Support simulation and surveillance of vibration tests of satellites and their components Application of the pre and postprocessing software PATRAN and the FEM solver NASTRAN Documentation and archiving of all activities, mathematical models and analysis and test results. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience MSc in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering Previous work experience in Mechanical Development in the Aerospace Industry Experience with FME absolutely necessary Performance of static and dynamic mechanical analyses and FiniteElementMethod FEM Experience with PATRAN and NASTRAN would be nice to have Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage. Your Tasks To ensure the successful production of current generation navigation spacecraft we are looking for a Junior Payload Systems Engineer. You use your RFTelecommunications training and work closely with spacecraft systems, structural, thermal, and Assembly Integration and Test AIT engineering to ensure satisfactory payload performance during production, ground testing, and inorbit. Analyze and assess the RF power, Signal performance, clock frequency stability, and other payload performance parameters. Support test campaigns by analyzing measured payload performance and assessingtroubleshooting anomaliesnonconformances. Analyze any nonconformances for impact and gain approval from customer. Review and assess supplier documentation and participate in review meetings design, qualification, testreadiness, posttest, acceptance, etc. as customer. Assess onorbit performance and anomaly reports. Travel regularly to suppliercustomer sites supporting testing and technical meetings as above. Your Qualifications Degree in ElectricalElectronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or comparable discipline. Recent graduate to intermediate professional experience, space industry preferred. Selfmanaged and proactive working style. Working level proficiency in written and spoken English. German or other EU language skills are advantageous.
