For our premises in Noordwijk we are looking for a Junior Financial and HR Assistant We are looking for a responsible person to perform a variety of financial and clerical tasks, willing to grow in the function. Duties of the person include providing support to managers and employees, being the interface between the Company and the external consultant and Local Administration for HR and accounting matters.. The resource will support the Financial Responsible and be the interface of the Project Control and Accounting and Finance Manager of the Belgian HQ. Responsibilities Employees support Be the point of contact between the Employees and the Local Administration Entities in order to submit specific dossier a.i. 30 Ruiling, sickness, pregnancy HR Support Activities monthly check of the salaries changes and forward complete report to the External Consultant for the salary calculation. Manage the Employment Contract and all the related data planned salary increases, calculate simulation of payslip, follow up the collective Health Insurance and Pension Scheme Financial provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department and to the External Consultant, in particular support the Financial Responsible in checking of the incomingoutgoing invoices and provide punctual reports to the Project Control. Contract Management Support the Contract Manager in managing the contracts with the customerssubcontractors. Handle the internal communication between partner and subcontractors. Requirements Bachelor Degree in Accounting Proven experience at least 23 Years in a similar role Fluency in English and Dutch knowledge of Italian is an asset Proficiency in MS Office MS Word, Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular Experience with ERP Tools i.e. SAP. We are looking for someone who is efficient and comfortable being a member of a team. The ability to multitask, while maintaining complex schedules and managing administrative support, is essential in this position. The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, a good problem solver and organized. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position.

You will have the opportunity to provide Earth Observation Spacecraft Operations Engineering service support and you will be assigned initially to preoperational Sentinels missions within the Earth Observation mission division i.e. not linked to Copernicus COP1 operational phases. Junior Earth Observation Spacecraft Operations Engineer

Thorn SDS is looking for a Junior Earth Observation Spacecraft Operations Engineer to join our team based at the European Space Operations Centre in Darmstadt, Germany. This is a great opportunity to develop and grow your career in a multinational environment under the guidance of industry experts. Our responsibility is the Spacecraft Platform Thermal, Power and TTC in support of current and future Earth Observation missions.
