A new role for a Configuration Controller in Earth Observation, Navigation Science has arisen in Portsmouth The succesful candidate will be responsible for managing the configuration on the PDM tool day to day with periodic supervision and guidance from the Configuration Manager. This role applies change control techniques and processes within the SPRINT PMC and CONNECT Windchill company tools and requires to have a deep understanding and ability in the product, function, assembly and asbuilt trees and views in both tools, as well as the ability and willingness to handle documentation in both tools, and secure manual documentation processing. Identify configuration items to be placed under their formal configuration control. Identify the requirements and the functional and physical characteristics of those configuration items.
