Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Providing support on Marine Payload Data Ground Segment PDGS maintenance in particular anomaly correction and software release process Preparing and providing the support of the day to day operation and maintenance. Supporting necessary evolution including the necessary coordination of the data processing systems engineering for the related interfaces with the rest of the Sentinel3 ground segment. Experience in software development lifecycles Software debugging and profiling tools e.g. GDB, DBX, IBM Purify, Valgrind Source code control systems, preferably Subversion and CVS Competence in SW testing, unit test suite maintenance, automated testing, verification and validation. The post holder is responsible for the implementation, quality assessment and evaluation of operational Copernicus Sentinel3 marine products in relation with the Copernicus Marine Monitoring Service provider and the definition, implementation, and assessment of new or enhanced products based on innovative algorithms and software prototyping.
