Within the Galileo Hosting Service Project the infrastructure is provided to host the Galileo Ground Segment elements at GCCD. Within the Hosting Service Project we offer the following career option Hosting Configuration Manager fmd Your Mission You as a team member of the Galileo Hosting Service Project operate and manage the high availability ground infrastructure of the Galileo Control Center in Oberpfaffenhofen in Germany GCCD. You are responsible for the implementation and processing of the hardware configuration management for the Hosting Service at GCCD. Close cooperation with hosting management and ILS management to keep the hosting service operation under control. Ensure consistent version management of documentation related to hosting as Hosting Configuration File including structured cabling infrastructure, OPS support systems e.g. Voice Intercom System, LAN Infrastructure Description etc. Galileo ground segment deployment plan Configuration Change Requests Design Change Proposals Updated Versions of Requirement Documentation Design Documentation Ensure reproducibility of service and deployment changes. Maintenance of the configuration management database as well as the deviation management for the hosting service design and the interfaces to thirdparty systems. Support of hosting service manager in release planning and change management. Your Qualification Completed studies in aerospace engineering, information technology or equivalent. Initial experience in configuration management is advantageous. Ideally experience with Configuration Management Tools. Basics in the areas of application lifecycle management and version management systems. Basics in the area of computer and network hardware High team and communication skills. German and English business fluent. Operations Manager Sports Events United Kingdom London Role Summary The Operations Manager Sports Events need to possess an extensive experience and strong knowledge of both Engineering and IT operations within a Television Distribution environment. You will manage daytoday operations in a 247 Sports Events distribution environment, ensuring reliable 247 performance of the operations team, delivering highquality services to our customers out of our new MCR in London. Managing annual work plans, KPIs, budget and operational costs, and increasing the Ops teams productivity, improve operational performance year on year, achieving seamless customer service and ensuring service level agreements are met. Primary responsibilities key result areas Direct and manage the Sports Events Operations team in London, responsible for all distribution systems across the associated SES Sports Events footprint Support and manage live entertainment events and ensure there is a team available 24x7 to support any operational issues Responsible for driving the Operational team to meet and exceed all SLAs across our technology footprint trackingtargeting of system defects to maintain and improve reliability and stability of onair systems Shift scheduling as well as guiding team leads through battle plans and equipment scheduling Trouble ticket control and routine work with other SES locations, proactively tracking operational issues to help prevent them and provide regular reports to management on state of operations Overall responsibility for delivering customer SLAs and creating, monitoring, and tracking KPIs Qualifications, experiences and competencies Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field, and 7 years leading engineering technology teams in the TV, cable or media industry, or an equivalent combination of education experience Strong knowledge of linear and IP video distribution concepts Proven ability to lead 247 support of a large operation with defined escalation processes and procedures Proven ability to manage multiple, urgent priorities simultaneously Knowledge of master control technologies, workflows and uplink systems Demonstrated ability to analyze, compile and deliver regular clear, concise reports detailing system performance and reliability High level of knowledge in SportsEvents OU technologies including DVB, IT, Network, and RF Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Proven ability to build strong relationships, effective teamwork, and the ability to lead by influence Organized, results oriented, selfstarter, and highly motivated Strong customer service orientation and a solutionsoriented mindset Results oriented meet deadlines and work with team in a demanding, fast paced environment Whats in it for you?
